No volunteer experience is required, just reliability, enthusiasm, commitment and must have a passion to help those in need. Volunteers need to avail themselves for a whole day’s session to get a feel of how the warehouse works and dealing with improvised agencies

Description:

Volunteers will need to help out in the warehouse with receiving goods and products from our donors, defacing of the goods as well as dispatching the goods to the agencies. Volunteers will also have to deal improvised agencies coming to collect food the food from the warehouse as well as deliver the food to improvised communities in and around Johannesburg. Volunteers will also help out in making sandwiches for disadvantaged leaners.

Other Information:

 Food Bank South Africa is leading a large-scale co-ordinated effort to establish a national network of community Food banks to feed South Africa´s hungry.

1 whole day weeks / 8 Hours hours per week
